Malaysia Tourist Visa — Everything Bangladeshis Need to Know
Document checklist, processing time, fees, and tips for a smooth application.
Malaysia is one of the most accessible destinations for Bangladeshi travellers, and its eVISA process is straightforward when you have your documents in order.
Who needs a visa
Bangladeshi passport holders need a visa to enter Malaysia. The eVISA (single entry, 30 days) is the most common option for tourists and is applied for entirely online.
Document checklist
A passport valid for at least six months with two blank pages, two recent passport photographs, confirmed return flights, hotel bookings for the full stay, a bank statement for the last three months (minimum balance around BDT 40,000), and an NOC from your employer or your trade licence.
Processing and fees
The eVISA is typically issued in 3–5 working days. Total cost is around BDT 3,500 for the standard 30-day single entry, including service charges.
Tips for approval
Make sure your bank statement shows a steady balance, your flight and hotel bookings match your stated travel dates, and all documents are clear scans. Mismatched dates are the most common reason for delays.
